Kunal Kemmu Talks on Enjoying the work Equally

The actor Kunal Kemmu discusses his thoughts about monotony in the workplace in the comedy-drama streaming series “Pop Kaun?,” which he recently appeared in.

The actor Kunal Kemmu, who most recently starred in the streaming comedies-dramas “Pop Kaun?” and “Kanjoos Makkichoos,” believes that staying versatile is the key to breaking up monotony and making work enjoyable. Since his first movie, Kalyug, and with subsequent roles in “Dhol,” “Golmaal Series,” “Go Goa Gone,” and “Abhay,” the actor has experimented with a variety of genres, whether it be a thriller, drama, murder mystery, or comedy.

He has dabbled with different types of humour, including situational comedy, dark comedy, family comedy, and slapstick comedy. The actor described how he defied expectations when he said, “When I first started, I was solely offered serious parts; subsequently, I was offered ‘Dhol’. After starring in “Dhol,” “99,” “Golmaal,” and even “Go Goa Gone,” 90% of the parts that came my way were comedic; oddly, I was offered “Kalank,” “Malang,” and “Abhay” in the same year.

Speaking about the aforementioned films, Kunal said, “These were all a welcome change from the comedies I was doing. One should be willing to dabble in different genres as it helps you to be a better artist”.

The actor is presently working on the post-production of his debut directorial effort, “Madgaon Express,” which will be directed by Raj – DK of “The Family Man” fame. His next film will be “Gulkanda Tales.”
