Tanya Deol’s inappropriate behaviour with Kareena Kapoor Khan’s mother, Babita, was even criticised by the actress in an interview.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is an actress who continued to engage in rumours and rivalries from the 1990s into the 2000s. Her episodes included fights, catfights, abuse, hurls, humiliation, calling out, and even slaps. An elaborate gossip column might be written on Bebo and her disputes, which mainly became public since the actress gave little thought to them.
Tanya Deol, Bobby Deol’s wife, allegedly smacked the Laal Singh Chaddha actress once while they were filming Ajnabee. However, as none of the parties ever confirmed it, the slap allegation may be exaggerated. Both parties, however, brought up the conflict.
Let’s begin by discussing the conflict’s origin. Bipasha Basu was there, to be precise. Bips was a novice to the field having only recently entered it. Tanya was lectured about this by Kareena Kapoor’s mother Babita, who did not like it.
The Deol wife returned it to Babita because she didn’t understand the outburst. Even Kareena, who had only been in the business for a year, did not appreciate Tanya assisting Bipasha Basu. Nobody can confirm the slap incident, whether it actually occurred or not. However, Bebo later said in an interview that he didn’t like Tanya.
She said, “Actually, there was a problem with his (Bobby Deol) wife, Tanya. She didn’t behave properly with my mother. And I didn’t like that.” She even confirmed that she did not have a problem with Bobby saying, “I don’t deny a problem with Bobby’s wife. But I’m sure my problems with Bobby can be sorted out. There’s no negativity from my end.”
In the same interview, Kareena Kapoor Khan further took a jibe at Bipasha Basu and said, “She just doesn’t seem to have any confidence in her own talent. In a four-page interview, she spoke about me for three pages. Why not talk about your work? “I think her only claim to fame is that she fought with me during Ajnabee over dress designer Vikram Phadnis. She’s given statements that I called her uncharitable names. Now, that’s a figment of her imagination.”
In a later episode of Koffee with Karan, even Karan Johar made an effort to delve into Bobby Deol’s response to the altercation, in which the actor merely laughed and showed no understanding of why or how it occurred. Karan, though, acknowledged that whatever occurred really did occur.
Later, when Bobby Deol was cast as the lead in Jab We Met (formerly known as Geet), Kareena Kapoor got her sweet vengeance by refusing to work with the Barsaat actor. Deol expressed his eagerness to be a part of the movie to Imtiaz Ali, but when Kareena joined the cast, Shahid Kapoor suddenly took Deol’s position.
