1920: Rahul Dev Teases ‘Father-Daughter Story’ In New Horror Thriller Sequel

In the sequel to the horror film “1920,” “1920: Horrors of the Heart,” actor Rahul Dev is preparing to appear on the screen once more. He claimed that this installment, as opposed to the first, is centered on a father-daughter connection.

Rahul is a key character in the future movie. On June 23, the film by Krishna Bhatt will be released in theatres.

The supernatural horror movie “1920,” which was released in 2008, centers on the activities around a married couple residing in a haunted mansion in the year 1920. Indraneil Sengupta played a prominent role in the movie, which also starred Rajneesh Duggal and Adah Sharma, both of whom were making their acting debuts.

It was the first entry in the popular “1920” film series, which was loosely based on the 1973 horror movie “The Exorcist.” ‘1920 Gayathri’ was the name given to the film’s Telugu and Tamil dubs.

Speaking about the experience of filming a horror movie like this, Rahul said, “The biggest learning and experience from this film was that, contrary to what the promos suggest, the entire project was shot by special technology on a gigantic set specially created for the feature, thanks to my director/producer friend Vikram Bhatt who never ceases to surprise me…During the times of lockdown, he acquired a completely new skill; this is his contribution to the present cinematic art form.

As Rahul Dev put it, “I was directed by his very capable young daughter Krishna Bhatt, written by his mentor Mahesh Bhatt, three generations coming together to put the sequel together.”
