Heavy rains in the state have disrupted life. On the other hand, severe loss of life and property occurred in many districts due to floods. Tens of people have been lost in the rivers and flood waters in the last three days. Many dead bodies are still being found. The bodies of some of them were found on Thursday and Friday. So far more than 18 people have died across the state. It seems that the number of missing persons is still large. Out of the 15 people who went missing in the Jampannawagu flood in Mulugu district, eight bodies were found on Friday. The search for the rest is on. Minister Satyavati Rathore also made a statement on this.
Life has come to a standstill due to heavy rains in Mulugu district for two or three days. People are facing serious problems due to overflowing streams and bends. 11 people lost their lives in the flood in Kondai village of Eturu Nagaram mandal on Thursday. Their bodies were found on Friday. Minister Satyavathi Rathore announced that Rs 4 lakh ex gratia will be given to the families of the deceased. Under immediate assistance Rs. 25,000 is being sanctioned, she said.
The body of a missing person was also found in Munneru flood at Jalagamnagar on Thursday. A dead body was also found in Bansuwada mandal of Kamareddy district. Asifibad and Kothagudem districts also lost many missing persons. More than 12 people are still missing.
